Where the money leaks
- Paying for a course that is not FLHSMV-approved. Only approved providers can report completion. Check the state's approved list before you pay.
- Buying a "bundle" you do not need. Adults cannot take the exam online, so an adult TLSAE bundle that includes an "online permit test" is selling a practice test. Ours is free.
- Retests. Each one is $10 plus the time off work or school. Two or three free full-length practice exams before the visit are the cheapest insurance there is.
- Missed appointments. Some tax collectors charge or block rebooking for no-shows. Go with the full document checklist so the visit counts.
